✔️reach(실제 연락이 닿고 소통하다)
: to communicate with someone in a different place, especially by phone or email 
      
    reach out이 손을 뻗어 연락이 닿기 위해 노력/시도한다면
    reach는 뭔가에 실제 도달하는 것처럼 연락이 닿고 소통하는 것

1. reach out: 연락이 닿으려 노력하고 시도한 것에 포커스
to try to communicate / make an effort to communicate
    
    I reached out to 6 more, and none of them would take my call. 6명 더 연락해봤는데 아무도 내 전화를 안 받더라.
    

    Why don't you reach out to him?  (단순히 연락해 보라고 제안) 그에게 연락해보는 게 어때?
    vs.
